Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) – An engineer needs to pass at least six exams to get an MCSE qualification. The Exams are extensive and cover all areas of IT, from Windows desktop and server skills to computer networks and security. To get an MCSE qualification usually takes up to two years.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) – The MCP qualification shows that an engineer is competent within his chosen area of expertise.
CompTIA Security+ – This qualification is a vendor neutral certification that demonstrates an engineer has competency in network security, access control, threats and vulnerabilities.
